A Time For Everything
Anniversary’s, Birthday’s, Holiday’s, Death’s, they’re all moments in time that seem to cause us to stop and reflect on our life. We may stop and reflect other times but I’m grateful for these types of moments because I always stop and look at my life and just…reflect. It’s usually a reflection of the past year’s events, sometimes a few years past and sometimes my life as a whole. It’s impossible to look at my life and not see God there. Reflecting only makes me that much more in awe of Him and that much more grateful He’s in control of it all.

Dreams. Visions. Desires. We all have them. What’s yours? What’s stopping you from pursuing or achieving your dreams, visions and desires? Have you lost heart? Faith? Is someone standing in your way?
My encouragement today is this: No matter what your situation is or what your current circumstances look like keep striving for that dream, don’t lose sight of your vision and keep fueling the fire of your desires. Don’t let other people dictate your life and control your future. God gave you one life and its here one minute and gone the next. Our life is but a vapor (James 4:14). Use your time wisely and don’t waste the skills and talents God has given you.
What do you feel like God made you to do? What do you see yourself doing while on this earth that you feel as if you’ll stop at nothing to accomplish it? What do you see yourself doing when you close your eyes and picture yourself the happiest and most satisfied you’ve ever been? Where are you? What are you doing? Perhaps that picture is exactly why God created you and what He created you for. That picture could very well be your purpose in this life. God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him! {John Piper} Fulfill your purpose!
You don’t need to have all the details…If what you desire to do seems impossible take your focus off your circumstances and fix your eyes on Jesus. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Have you become complacent in your life? You can change that today! Live your life on purpose! It’s a decision only you can make. Wake up! Look around you, there are so many opportunities God gives us daily to glorify Him. Each day lived, every step we take can be on purpose for Christ and another piece placed in the puzzle that is our life. God sees the completed picture, the ‘puzzle’ as a whole. We live out one day at a time, placing one ‘piece’ to the picture (puzzle) at a time. Don’t get caught up in the “every day routine” of your life and lose sight of your ultimate goal. If you’re not where you want to be in your life than keep striving! Don’t give up, don’t lose heart, and don’t lose faith! Keep your eyes on the prize!
